Who is Ron Tang, DO?

Dr. Ron Tang is a second-year psychiatry resident, musician, marathoner, and lifestyle coach based in Phoenix, Arizona. With over a decade of education and medical training, he is dedicated to helping others better understand human behavior and support those they serve.

Dr. Tang earned his bachelor’s degree in physiology with a minor in psychology from the University of Arizona, where he also worked in a sleep research lab. He later obtained his medical degree from A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine and is completing his psychiatry residency at Creighton University – Phoenix.

As one of 45 psychiatry residents selected nationally for the American Psychiatric Association (APA) SAMHSA Fellowship, Dr. Tang serves on the APA council shaping national policy in mental health. His academic work has also been published in peer-reviewed journals, including Harvard Review of Psychiatry.
