Community Involvement
Back On My Feet is a New York-based nonprofit organization combating homelessness through fitness, community support, and employment and housing resource. As a volunteer, Ron leads 1-4 miles weekly runs with individuals in residential treatment programs that are in recovery from homelessness and addiction.
READ 718 is a nonprofit literacy center that provides free, individualized reading to children from low-income households. With 4+ years of teaching experience in Calculus 1 and 2, Ron serves as a literacy tutor for 5-8th grade students who face various challenges, including reading disabilities, language disorders, or below grade-appropriate reading levels.
